RETROCALC PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: 2026-08-31 · Last updated: 2026-08-31 · Applies to RetroCalc: Retro Calculator by Bloomix Labs
RetroCalc: Retro Calculator ("RetroCalc", "the app") is developed and published by Bloomix Labs ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
TL;DR
RetroCalc does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works entirely on your device and has no internet access.
> 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect nothing.
RetroCalc does not collect, request, or receive any personal or sensitive user data. Specifically, the app does not collect:
- ■ Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information
- ■ Account or login credentials (the app has no accounts and no sign-in)
- ■ Location data of any kind, precise or approximate
- ■ Contacts, calendar entries, photos, files, or media
- ■ Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
- ■ Usage analytics, behavioural data, crash reports, or diagnostics
- ■ Payment or financial information
We do not build user profiles, and we have no way to identify you.
> 2. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
RetroCalc saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, so the app is useful between sessions:
| WHAT | WHY | WHERE IT GOES |
|---|---|---|
| Calculation history | So you can review or reuse recent calculations | Your device's private app storage |
| App settings (such as theme or sound preferences) | So the app opens the way you left it | Your device's private app storage |
This data:
- ■ Never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to our servers, or transmitted anywhere. We operate no servers that receive app data.
- ■ Is stored in Android's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read.
- ■ Is not accessible to us at any time.
- ■ Can be cleared by you at any moment — by clearing the history inside the app, by using Android's Settings > Apps > RetroCalc > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes all of it permanently.
> 3. INTERNET ACCESS AND PERMISSIONS
RetroCalc does not declare the INTERNET permission. The app is technically incapable of making a network connection, which means no data can be sent from it — by us or by anyone else.
The app requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, storage, contacts, or any other protected part of your device.
> 4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
RetroCalc contains no third-party SDKs. There is:
- ■ No advertising or ad network (no AdMob, no ad mediation)
- ■ No analytics (no Firebase Analytics, no Google Analytics, no equivalent)
- ■ No crash reporting or performance monitoring SDK
- ■ No social media SDKs, login providers, or trackers of any kind
Because no third-party code runs inside the app, no third party receives any information about you through RetroCalc.
Note that the app is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information related to app downloads, installs, and purchases independently of the app itself, under Google's Privacy Policy. That collection is outside our control and is not performed by RetroCalc.
> 5. DATA SHARING AND SALE
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any user data to third parties — because we do not have any user data to share.
We will not disclose data to law enforcement or any other party, as we hold none. Any request of that kind would be answered with the fact that no data exists.
> 6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain no data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Data stored locally on your device is retained until you remove it. To delete everything RetroCalc has stored, clear the app's history in-app, use Settings > Apps > RetroCalc > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Since we hold no personal information, requests to access, correct, export, or delete personal data cannot apply to data on our end. If you have a question about this, contact us at the address below and we will confirm in writing.
> 7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
RetroCalc is suitable for users of all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's provisions on children's data, and Google Play's Families Policy.
> 8. SECURITY
Because no data is transmitted or stored off-device, there is no server, database, or transmission channel that could be breached. Data saved locally is protected by Android's application sandbox and by your device's own security measures, such as your screen lock and device encryption.
> 9. YOUR RIGHTS
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act grant you rights over your personal data — including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing.
RetroCalc performs no processing of personal data, so there is nothing held about you to access, correct, port, or object to. You remain in full control of the data stored on your own device, as described in Section 6.
> 10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy — for example, if a future version adds a feature that requires network access — we will update this policy before that version is released, revise the "Last updated" date above, and describe the change here. Continued use of the app after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
